Monday, July 13, 2009 7pm coffee"Where do u think ur going??"That was a screech. Followed by a man in his late thirties, trotting towards an even older lady (a quick guess: mayb in her forties?), and all over his face writes: "sigh.. Not again." the lady seems like someone of status, prolly some manager la. That was at 7pm, caught by my drifting eyes in the office pantry. Yep, 7pm and still in office. 7pm still sipping coffee in the pantry. Thats me. Nope, not workin shift today, fyi. "yes, mrs woon?" She did not say anything but gave him the familiar "follow-me" finger-hook, at the same time walkin towards the smokin lobby. He's so gonna get it, i thought. Suddenly a possibility struck me. That could well be me in the future. Near future. Very sure. The only thing i'm not sure, is whether i'll take that man's role, or the old lady's. Whatever! Jus do my best today la! That shld be my best preparation for tmr. So happy! Finally finished my assignment! Feel so much relieved! Fyi, i stayed behind in office for the free coffee :P |
