Tuesday, June 17, 2008 the good ol' days..a trip back to the good ol' days.. that was what happened over the weekends :)gee.. come to think of it, when was the last time i had a whole weekend away from office, ever since i started shift work? how about 9 mths? ½ a year? whatever it is, it sure was a long time ago. i went to JB and saw the other side of life. it was like, being immediately transported by to the 80's or 90's, people jumping off moving buses, squeezing into whatever little footspace available on the bumpy, rust-rickety block of metal on wheels, hawkers selling food by the roadside and walking on unmarked sand/tar roads.. sure felt like a kampong boy the past 2 days! how i wish the world is but a kampong, where kampong boys play with tops and girl play hopscotch.. life would be simple, stress-free ('cept from mommies and aunties nagging to get married when ur ~20yrs old) and of cos, happy :) and of cos, i got my expected dosage of love-bites from the ever-cute malaysian mozzies.. so cute, u just simply feel like whackin'em. as the saying goes, 打是疼，骂是爱嘛… :P realised that i've been stuffing my poor stomach with food recently. i think i should give it and myself a break from the antacids. who knows, might just get 胃病 from prolonged consumption..? :( damn.. feeling super broke this month from overspending in the last. not to mention the influx of 20-yr-old babies in the month of june, they add up to the expenses column too :( still trying to be optimistic. not sure why, but things sure look brighter already. i feel this by itseld is already a huge encouragement. already, im looking at the end of july; cos thats when bonuses gets credited :D oh ya, if im not wrong, there should be another round of GST credit coming in June/July. something else to look forward to! ;) definitely better days ahead.. yeah! >=] |
