Sunday, January 13, 2008 1st week of 2008On the 3rd day of a new yr, i fell sick. Waking up to a running blocked nose and nasal cramps was really unbearable, and thus i decided to tk the day off for a much-needed rest. =(Its beginning to feel kinda disgusting, apologising to myself for not updating as often and yet procrastinating Actually im scared. Scared.. of updates. Too much to update! (>.<) My last update was like.. New yr eve..? hmm.. What did i actually do on the last(thankfully) day of 2007? .. Oh yea, tho it was half a working day, but i went home feeling tired. I would have gotten a good rest for the long night ahead if not for my dearest mommy who began her usual chanting 'n rantings at me to finish up the paintwork in my room(which is the last room left in the house still in 2007 mood).. And i caved in. Work started @ 3pm and ended minutes to 8, before i left house to meet the rest at dbl O. And take good note that, that was work from 2 boys only =] The night started off softly until minutes away from the exciting 2008 ahead. Exciting, cos im expecting changes for he better. Exciting, cos i believe the worst must've blown over in 2007. For many better days ahead; cheers! I wouldn't have offered to drive the boys home if nt for the fact that im to be in office for a gd 12hrs on new yr day itself. Since there isnt much time to sleep, for fear of not being able to reach office in time, I decided not to sleep. Badd move. I almost died in office! The fact that the proxy server went down on new yr day (great timing) means no internet access for the day. arGh! 快疯掉了！！ Spent the next day at home trying to rest ‘n relax.. key word here is trying. Hurhurhur.. ended up outside trying to land a bite of cheesecake café’s cakes in the afternoon.. and guess what! They decided to take the day off too.. nooo~~ ( >.< ) I rushed off to meet Miss Black-Face and her 2 kid sisters at parkway afterwards. did anyone actually realized that kiddy rides no longer cost just 20-cents?? Or even 40-cents (2x 20-cent coins)? I wont mind even if its 50-cents,, but a dollar?! Geez. Din expect to fall sick on thurs. took the day off.. rested at home.. did something I wanted to do always, like tidying up the post-paintjob mess from new yr’s eve and watching tv in the afternoon(yea u peepz better get jealous over this :P ) which is smth I haven been doing ever since I started work in my present company. Nope, not even when im on shifts, cos usually time after I felt better. Actually the symptoms subsided before I had lunch, but heck. No way im going back office for half a day! The day’s mine.. ALL MINE. muAhahAha.. Let me be evil just once in awhile, okay! Then.. was supposed to catch a movie at 1.30am.. guess what! Only 3 shows are screening at cathay cineleisure on thurs.. can u believe it! All of which I have no interest in. duhz. Ended up having Gloria Jeans’ (nope, Gloria Jeans do not sell denim, they serve great coffee) until 3am and plonked hard on bed afterwards. Dead(for the night). Oh yea.. wondered if anyone actually realized my mane is actually due for professional attention? Yea.. my regular hair-maker decided to jump ship and work as.. CSO in a recycling company. Don’t start laughing 1st until I tell u how much he’s getting for sitting in the office per month; a friggin’ 4GRAND per month. wTf? Well.. that means I gotta start hunting around for someone who can bring out my style.. and I think I chose the wrong one this time. Oh well.. hair grows, right? =] then, the week ends with 2 days in office =( |
