Sunday, December 23, 2007 Merry Christmas!hohoho, Merry Christmas!work on christmas eve really don feel like work at all! log cakes flying all over the place, then there were small gifts of fragrant nuts and armoatic chocs.. and other corporate xmas prezzies.. now, i wish everyday's Christmas! :P work ended slightly earlier as my colleague offered to take over, knowing i've place to run today.. gee, thanks Sue! i dropped by KLP to pass my 1st few prezzies to my fren. i wish i can give more prezzies to more kids this year and everyday, cos the pleasure's always mine see-ing them grinning so happily wondering what santa gave them for being good this yr! then, i shopped around, alone. shopping alone is usually when i need to find something in particular and this is something i cant seem to always accomplish when there is someone else around. dunno why..? but im still happy cos i found what i was looking for. finally, my christmas shopping is done! phew! now.. how am i supposed to give all out by christmas! hmm... headache..! (>.<) good thing i managed to get the vehicle last night! it really came in handy, esp when someone mentioned that the party's at the wrong place! its supposed to be at a rooftop garden.. so malu when i reached the place and asked the person around how to get to the roo(i bet my nuts he must be thinking: go rooftop at this hr for what?!) cos looking at me from any angle, i don even look like any contractor! and which contractor goes to the rooftop at 8pm?! hahaha! being the odd one out sure aint fun, so i decided to make this christmas count by immensing into the crazy fun. being with a group of die-hard, long time pioneer batch of crazy boys 'n gals immediately transported me back 7 years before.. before i realised i've actually wasted my youth on useless indulgence. sigh! why am i not lucky enough year after year to be with such a bunchie despite searching high and low, trying hard and soft? christmas 2007.. nice :) note to myself: pls do not drive when going to xmas parties next yr! i will never bring myself to another game where i can ONLY SEE my team mates suffer penalties when i can only sit back and do nothing about it! |
