Saturday, December 15, 2007 I'm Back!hey folks! guess what im back! paisei paisei.. i know i've neglected this lil' but cosy cyberspace of mine, but what to do! so many things happened in the last 2 weeks! thats on top of the already long, irregular working hrs im stuck in! and dunno why so many ppl's pc like to breakdown during this period of time? 5 cases of harddisk crashes so far le! so folks! do perform regular PC maintenance tasks and rembr to backup all impt data! esp personal photos and pictures/video clips of loved ones! these are things that $$$ cannot bring back!hmm.. so what have i been up to? 1st of all.... a 3-day-3-night trip to the paradise of vice(gambling + *ahem* ;P ), GENTING!! wewe~ 1st time going genting with frens! excited? of cos i am! supposed to leave on thurs night.. but guess what! this lady called to inform me about an interview i was supposed to have flunked a week ago, that im to report for my 2ND INTERVIEW on FRIDAY! when im supposed to be at GENTING! arGH! and its an interview for a job im really enthusiastic about! needless to say, or even use buttock to think, i went for the interview la! but how!? simple.. the boys go 1st without me lor.. i'll jus haf to join em the next day! geez.. whats the world coming to? i have to pay extra and yet enjoy 1 day lesser than those who did not! ultra-tio "cheated" :( but nvm la! the best happiness is more often than not, short-lived, and so is mine! dont laugh okay.. but its moi virgin visit to the casino (>.<) hey! won RM380 with Lady Luck smiling u know! but ended up being stubborn and lost RM200 at the end of the day :( nvm! guess its a reasonable price to fork out for fun, ya? oh, did i mention how much i ate during my stay there! not to say the food there's fabulous or smth.. but i just.. just.. INDULGE! 1 meal i ate 2 servings! scary! felt so bloated the entire trip.. plus din slp properly! slp 5am, wake at 9! but amazing how i managed to pull thru the next day without feeling grumpy! hmm.. i rembr going home and bought some bubbles on the way back to chew.. and FOUND a BUG COUPLE in the gum! of cos i din scream out! just threw the entire box of chews away. no pain felt! if there is to be 1 thing i regret about the trip, is that no one seemed interested in keeping memories. i brought a camera with more than enuff memory to last 2000 pictorial memories and took only less than 5%! funny why ppl don like to tk pic? tk liao will lose $5? uh.. wudever la. then.. wed was my FINAL INTERVIEW. having gone thru the previous ordeal, the last thing im expecting is negative results for this! uh-huh! *n0dz* sway right! but nvm! someone told me failure is an chance to re-try better-prepared! 1st day know me meh! where stubborn is deemed necessary, u can be sure i will go all out! anyone tried ice-skating! hehe.. now i think im really beginning to sounds like a 100% authentic swah-gu liao! 1st time skating in the rink was fun! fell down once.. erm, not bad already for a guy 1st time gliding on the ice liao hor! but nothing to be happy about, cos that revived an old ailment :( this is an once-dislocated shoulder.. anyone got recommendations for REALLY skillful senseh?? the last one i went to was no miracle doctor and i went without weights-training for 2 months. that explains the flabs back then :( even young Joanne can skate better then me! =I still, all the physical difficulty and mental embarassment that doesnt stop me from going back to the rink soon! trust me! there is no better time to ice-skate than during this xmas season! those who have yet to try before, make this year your 1st! break away from the strong clings of doubt and fear, dont waste life on routinal life! cos life's simply too short and precious to be spent this way! =) and oh, Edda's so cute! kids above age of 2½ to about 7yrs old are the cutest interactive creature to be classified as Human on Earth! anything younger, they'll poo all over the place; anything older, prepare at least a kegful of water to go along with an appropriate amount of Aspirins/Paracetemol if u don fancy a long-term stay at the Hougang Chalet ok! afterwards, i met up with WQ and his wonderful family. even i myself was amazed at how comfortable it felt chatting over dinner, even though we haven met for the past uh.. 6mths?? i'll be visiting him again next week for follow up. with so much bad / neutral news.. finally the time's come for GOOD NEWS! nah, im not getting married yet. no babies too, but a notch up the career ladder by being converted to PERM staff! yes la! hahaha! better benefits, and of cos, improved payroll ;) HEY! DON START CALLING ME FOR PROMOTION TREATS YET! ITS ONLY A MEAGRE RAISE LAH! then its the company XMAS PARTY yesterday evening!! to think i even contemplated not going in the 1st place.. hey hey, u may think: "but why?" cos it is not the 1st time such company events "coincidentally" fell on my off-day! off-days, u know! the last place or thing u wanna do on a office worker's off-day is to make the RETURN TRIP TO OFFICE. doncha agree? but! im glad i went! the program sounded simple enough, but fun-filled almost indefinitely! there was Bingo! and uh..guess-the-logo competition! and not forgetting the warped-singing game(ie. malay sing chinese, chinese sing indian, indian sing spanish etc)! and i won a watch in it! so malu.. haha i was made to sing some how long ago since i last caught a late-night movie! since SAW IV? no regrets watching MR. MAGORIUM’S WONDER EMPORIUM. catch it especially if you're feeling down this festive season! oh, friend-guidance advised though; i mean, why watch these kinda happy shows alone, right? ;) haven been slping the past day already, am still not tired! thinking about the up-coming monday shopavaganza! a quick check at my month's balance says alot about how much i'd(..not?) dread spend xmas, but thats definitely not stopping me from playing Santa this year! i just wanna fill in the void i left in my heart last yr; nothing's stopping! cos i realise that, giving can be a form of taking too :) oh, and just in case i dont manage to login in back here again in time, Merry X'mas in advance to all peeps around the world! ;) |
