Saturday, October 27, 2007 sickim on type of person who doesn't fall ill easily, and so, when i fall sick, you can be sure that its a genuine, gao-lud gao-lud one.and what great timing huh, to fall sick just days before my IPPT is due. grr.. and since when doctors practised giving 1 day MC only? i thought the standard is 2 days for fever, flu etc common illness? somemore its not the 1st time liao.. give 1 more day will earn less? i went back the 2nd day after i realised that there is no way im gonna report for work in such a state; blocked nose, baad, dried-fish-like throat and a occasional strong urge to blow up the house with my nose. (think: K@BOOM! 0opx.) 不知不觉地，平平安安地在家里度过了整整两天。why isit that time always never failed to fly by so fast when you're not noticing it? oh, just as well. i could always use sometime to catch up on sleep. look Ma, no pimples! :D well… ok 啦~ just 1; 1 major one, and several clogged pores. erm.. heh. maybe what Ma said was right, all i need to do is a good sweat-it-out. i lifted weights on Fri and true enough, the nose blockage this morning cleared itself instanteously, just like magic! who knows, i might be able to try clocking a good time on sunday morning? will be meeting TF and RN, along with his beloved god-sis SL, and the ever-blur, push-around queen QE. GP joined in after we finished our initial round of MOS "bliss". met another self-confessed blur queen just before meeting the rest. and guess what? MOS. can u imagine eating the same food in the same restaurant all in within 2hrs?! gee. i just hope that i din bore her with my droopy eyes; not that i din slp well! but more of the medication's side effects. someone told me that its common for ppl on antibiotics to feel hungry once per 4hrs..? can someone else verify this? in anyway, im gonna make that as an excuse to oh, and did i mention about no KBOX until my throat recovers from the dry spell? we spent the rest of the night @ TCC (Talk-Cock-Cafe). KK is indeed someone u can count on for reliable company. just a word in MSN and viola! less than half an hr, he's at the door. much appreciated, KK. really. more the merrier, isn't it? =] there are some friends u can chat with, anything and everything under the sun, and even when there are moments of silence, its not deafenin nor awkward to the heart. im really glad i have a good mix of these. plans for the night t0ok an unexpected turn when Fatty, surprisingly, went home early on a Fri night. so its another boys' night at TF's =] er.. am i supposed to be sleeping now? |
