Sunday, September 23, 2007 中秋节快乐ok 啦.. there's still a couple days to it, but no harm with am early greeting, right? ;)went swimming with CM and DJ yest afternoon. bLeaGh! the water's sour! yucks! dunno where the maintenance fee paid every month went to liao. lucky brought my laptop along. talk kok sing song, play along until 5pm. haiya.. should've heeded DJ's advice and tan at a later time.. now my shoulders are burning painfully (>.<) okok next time i tan at 4pm, not 1pm ok? :P actually wanted to lodge another "feedback" to this taxi driver which took me to Central Mall for dinner with LM @ 7pm, but i decided against it. cos i was "fondly" reminded of that rude taxi driver whom i encountered sometime ago and comparatively, at least this one did not argue with me. eh, i don go around smashing other ppl's rice bowl okay.. i just dont want the bad experience encountered to go around to others. imagine if that taxi unker had hollered to a poor helpless lady. how can that be tolerated?? Dinner @ Waraku was well-worth the wait (almost 1 hr!). never had i such fresh salmon before in my time! but kinda exp, so i had actually controlled my urge to order a dozen more plates.. hehe =D a walk around the riverside after dinner was interesting. ppl peddling Mid-Autumn Festival goodies, from charity lanterns for $2 bucks each (都不知道会不会灵咯…), mini lobsters and turtlets, the all-too familiar mooncakes and the regular stalls selling Turkish ice-cream.. immensing in the festive mood was an interesting experience cos i never had the chance to before.. ya ya.. i know. i swah-koo, im mountain-turtle.. but at least i know now, ya? better late than never! =P somehow i feel nightlife @ Clarke Quay was more bustlier than usual. it must be due to the fact that its a Sat, and that the Mid-Aumn Fest is around the corner. had wanted to indulge in some Haagen-daz pleasure, but decided against it after some internal battling (sorry LM for taking so long to decide!) cos im still bloated from the Waraku-goodness! (>.<) decided on a cooling glass of iced-chamomile with matching aloe-vera cubies. ahh.. that was what i just needed after a hot day swimming and the dinner! ice-cream next time round, anyone wanna join in the ice-cream rampage?? :D spend the time on the way home thinking in much-needed silence, courtesy to LM's kind fren YQ who offered to drive us home as he's "on the way".. gee.. nice ppl are really hard to come by, esp those working in IT :P thinking.. of how i should walk on from now on till the end of 2007. 3 mths left only!! so fast!? 神啊，请给我多一点点时间吧！ |
