Saturday, July 28, 2007 semi-semi-semi..back to work after 2.5 days of home-coopin'!ok la.. maybe i do need that break. i went to office feeling really fresh. w0ot! such a feeling u don get if ur working everyday.. mayb i should get MCs more often..? maybe thats why so many like to take MCs so often ba? lolx.. w0ot~ surprise #1: Team Leader got me a cute bottle of homemade barley! wahh... i tot this world only my mom makes me barley... and even so, i even scolded(not literally, but light-heartedly la.. i not black heart okay..) her for not putting in sugar.. nghahaha~ but still.. am touched.. my next closest did not come as close as this touching my heart before.. *s0bx*s0bx* was still thinkin about it when i was washing the bottle this afternoon... today's working hrs seemed especially short; cos i had lunch at about 1130.. no mood to work also. throat is still sexily hoarse. mind keeps swaying back and forth lalaland.. must be due to the side effects of the prescription. anyway, i avoided that particular medicine after lunch.. but still doesnt work :P there was a pearl appreciation workshop today, and i learnt alot new things about these semi-precious stones.. actually they are not stones la, just layers of protective coating over a small irritant which, over time, accumulates into semi-glossy metal-hard marble-like stones we call, pearls. amazin what mother nature can produce, huh? right, nuff' of the pearlie-talk. doubt anyone here's interested in that kind stuff 'cept me. gee.. the person who gave the talk's my departmental head, and she brought merely 10% of her collection... some of which cost 2k each pearl.. EACH SINGLE ONE. not EACH NECKLACE. now, u know the difference huh... she must be f***ing reech.. gosh. i love Fridays.. don'cha, too? there's after-work events to look forward to.. dress down means u get to see your colleagues from another interesting angle.. that means i get to dress up too.. not that i dress well, but better than boring shirt-tie-pants everyday, right? thus, i self-made Fri my costume party day.. a day when i can let my imagination run wilder than usual. usually, this makes me feel better on the overall... hmmm mayb they should implement dress down on normal days too..? or at least on monday so that ppl wont feel that blue on the 1st day of the week... hehe i think too much la! =X speaking of after-work events.... argh. dinner date was cancelled on me last minute. called back to re-confirm and the phone was never picked up. what manners! but nvm la. im broke, anyway. mayb i should 乖乖的go home and have some nice home-cooked delicacies (mom's cooking is a delicacy which not all children around the world can enjoy.. agree?). no one's home when i stood at the porch. great... finally some moments of peace after work. really cant stand noise immediately after a days' work.. i dont ask for much; a laptop, with outstanding sound system playing smooth jazz, projection tv, cushy sofa, aircon and semi-warm lights.. sigh. i must really earn more than enuff so that i can have my haven of peace and indulgence out there soon.. 天啊~when will that be?? today's record.. 23-1. kokkie ng VS kk chan!! yay~~ wahaha.. im bad, i know. but hey, i fixed his joystick, u know? together with my semi-faulty one.... met up with fatty and i fixed his too.. makes 3 joysticks fixed in a day. w0ot! finishing my last dose of medicine... hopefully this solves my runny/blocked nose and semi-bad throat problem before i go for badminton later on.. being cast Mute for 3 weekdays is bad enuff already... don make me lose my precious weekend too~~ 10 hr left to rest! (O . O) PS: noticed how much i used the word "semi" today? dont ask me why. perhaps simply 'cos my life's so indecisive? (^ _ ^) oyasumi! ( ^ _ ^ )
