Sunday, July 22, 2007 lazy weekendgosh.. the weekend flew by just like this..? i have yet to relax my poor, tiring, aching shell for the grueling week ahead..! (> . <)hmm.. so exactly how was time spent on? fri night was spent laffin at NB's hse with KK.. we played until 6am before we decided to call it a day. early breakfast always felt good at my house.. no complains for the the shui kow (水饺) noodles at that kinda price! ;) washed up thoroughly before i hit the bed for some much needed rest.. for 2hrs =( never been to an audtion before, so i dunno what to expect. esp when i had only 2hrs rest. i must've looked extra grouchy.. chances don look good, but still am hopeful. hope is what keeps one going :) then.. headed to simlim. i have a few hrs before KK is due, so i decided to do some window-RT. things are indeed getting expensive, with the introduction of a GST raise and the implementation of surcharges for NETS/credit card usage. Cash is now, King. don be surprised if you noticed a slight surge in robberies from this month onward =\ met Chris. he's in good shape. i still envy him. i always did, anyway. somehow got that kinda feeling when talking to him. u know, that kinda feeling u got whenever u meet ex-colleagues who are still there. THAT feeling. now, i hate THAT. doesnt matter, anyway. hi's and bye's are a norm these days to me. esp when i've made so many new isit true all moms are so hospitable towards their children's frens? 1st was an iced-Milo, which i politely refused with a leaving reason. 2ndly, on my return visit half hr later, got a pan-pizza made specially for me, which according to the young master of the house, is a luxury he does not even get to enjoy. then there's this japanese fried chicken.. aRgh. 包 dead. my throat's already half dying already! >.< caught up with the lovebirds at PS after NB's work. there, met Max. i still think he shouldnt have taken the 1st step back then. all that was exchanged was merely a wave and a forced smile. bad attitude.. but who cares? just another acquaintance, anyway. supper was good! too bad i dont have a camera phone, nor my digicam with me. where in Sillypore can u find good, and i mean REALLY good, bak kut teh at street hawker prices? i mean, normally those bak kut teh u find in hawker or food courts are usually over-musked in pepper, or too bland for even daily taste, right? 汤头带有甘甜,不含过多(is there any at all? o.O)MSG (cos afterwards din have the super urge for water) which is fast-becoming a rarity in Sillypore already. im sure u'd agree with me that, 真正懂得烹饪的人在Sillypore会有几位,对吧? 2night consequtively button-bashing proved to be too much for my frail body.. i knocked out before 3am this time (>.<) thankfully i did, cos driving on the highway, keeping to the speed limits might be dangerous without sufficient slp. i shouldnt risk others life even if i dont mind an occasional stay in the hospital, ya? did some housekeeping, or rather room-keeping back home. yea... i know, i know. this should be more frequent than mayb, once per month? i would, if i could, cos staying home on a serene day like sunday is more difficult than going jogging after work. exactly how many out there rather jog than do housework? anyway, housekeeping is one of those things u do which requires little or no brainwork, just like waking up to visit the latrine in the middle of the night without turning on the lights. betch u'd surprised if i say such activities is actually a form of relaxation, but hey, its true ya! try it for urself if u don take me for my words! =) work resumes normal next week. i hope it stays this way. for someone who fails to manage time properly, it might be a good thing if he leads a routinal life, however boring it might be. at least he gets a life, even if he doesnt get as much slp. so many things to do.. so little time! no more unnecessary waiting from now on. i really dont wanna end this journey being myself with regrets. |
