f0od fiesta@JB (part 2of3)

DJ says, from past experience, taking the bus would be suicide, esp at this time, ‘cos of the potential traffic jam at the causeway.

And so, we(actually he did, there was objections obviously but who’s the DJ around?) decided to walk..

"Eh.. u sure this cage-thingy leads to JB? Scarly that sign above is fake, then cannot go back home, how??"

"Hehehe… u think I dunno ijit.. later I got thru, cannot come back.. u all go home right..? think I stupid ah?"

"not me! i didn't decide on walking thru ‘tis..! (guess who's in the background?)"

after the long walk inside the stuffily hot tunnel.. everyone came out with dampened spirits.. except one who was bold(silly?) enough, decided to challenge The Big One.. perhaps cos Reena’s was there also..? :P

It wasn’t all a breeze walking that thousand meters across the causeway.. and to top it all up..

Really feel disgusted when I keep see-ing ppl queue-hopping.. esp when the unkerz n undies are from SG (with the all-too-familiar Red-Book-to-the-World, who cant recognize a Singaporean when u see one at Customs?), and ESP WHEN THEY CUT THE QUE OF A FOReIGNER at CustoMz!! 1 jumped, nvm, 2^nd one, still can tolerate.. but the 3^rd..?

Don say the ang moh, even I will give u [STOP] sign lar!~

Anyway that’s what the ang moh did. But too bad my camera’s not ready to snap it..! aRGh~~ wasted! imagine what great news that’ll make in STOMP/EDMW! :P

We wasted almost 1½ hrs in the human mess, just to see an extremely disgruntled Reena(Malaysians walked thru the Customs tapping the “EZLink” card, just like when they’re boarding the train in SG. 10 seconds is all u need. Any Singaporeans wanna convert to Malaysian??). eh.. but seriously, not our fault wud.. agree? 谁叫我们是优等的新加坡好公民？

Told u liao right.. good guys finish last.. heng not in really last in this situation.. imagine queueing from 12-6pm.. scary :S

No more nonsense! Food and drinks to lighten up the mood! Lunch at Kenny Roger’s @ JB City²:

We decided to cam-whore while waiting for Kenny’s chickens to hatch from rotten eggs..

Ah-chek and nashberry.. KK, no matter how BT u are, ur still part of our brotherhood!

Finally(amazingly?), the chickens hatched.. onto our plates, that is..

Roasted chicken leg(organic protein), with cheesy macaroni(diary, carbohydrates), potato salad(carbo & starch) & garden trio(vegz!). That’s a complete lunch for you! =]

Muffinz! mMm!

Food was so-so.. perhaps due to the reduced salt, fat and calories? Is this what they mean by “junk food taste better”?

Anyway… we managed to sneak in an hr of shopping afterwards, with barely enuff time to run to the cinema, just in time to catch..

Great show with good plot and humor. Classic, the way I like it =]
