Sunday, June 24, 2007 belated-fridayeh sorry guys.. din mean to forsake updates in the past 3 days, just that.. wasn't feeling all too good about myself. anyway, here i am! juicy updates, anyone? :o)fri was a fun day. someone made a comment about the tie in office yet again. someone said it was "cute", "funky", "nice", "creative dressing".. and there are ppl who made comments like, "tie is nice, but thats about all.", "doesn't go with your shirt", "too short", "not nice".. not that i really mind take the negative ones to heart.. but it sure doesn't hurt to feel good about the positive ones, yea? ;) i guess its beauty to the beholder, agree? 汉神啊,汉神... next time, just give ambiguous answers when ppl ask u about where others are, doing what etc.. cos u never know if you might just spoil any plans/agendas/surprises behind the actions of others, yea? u are forgiven tis time..下不为例哦！;) anyway, just exactly what went on after 5.30pm on Fri? 5.30pm - left office. decided to stop by Dhoby Ghaut instead of the usual Bugis whenever i need to pick up anything from SLS, and walked. lucky i still have my Z5 as company! 6.15pm - my Z5 died out on me. what luck! and so, i walked on alone. did a quick glance around.. nothing impressive. grabbed the thing i came for, and proceeded to pay. "sorry, don mind key n ur PIN once again?" *thinking: did i key it wrongly..? hmm nvm.. key one more time* *teet!teet!teet!* -DECLINED- *thinking: wtf.. cant be 2 times wrong..? sh!@t.. don tell me they snatched my last $200 bucks away from me without a hoot??* i dug into my wallet, and handed over that last 50-dollar bill to the cashier, who is now attending to this ah chek, who really seemed to be scoffing at my "inability" to pay despite the way i dressed. damn. i hate this feeling. and so, i lugged that biggie all the way from SLS, and walked back the way i came, back to PS, where i met KK on the way who had kindly took over my load partially. i din expect that thing to be considered a load until i met KK. why did i even thought of giving this in the 1st place, anyway?? (> . <) met Hanzy. and he told me news i swear made me really don feel like wrapping it at all :( but nvm la. whats done cannot be undone.. so we went around, scouting for a kind soul who'd agree to help wrap up this small behemoth. this place i went to initially's asking for $2, and we decided to try our luck elsewhere.. and managed to find this place with this XMM who agreed to wrap it up FOC without any purchase required. really! i was pleasantly surprised such a service existed in sg where they charge almost anything u can and cannot think of =] she really had a tough time trying to wrap it up. nonetheless, she still managed it. :D i really think i oughta thank her, so on the way back from nature calls, i decided to grab a small but sweet (literally!) token of appreciation for this XMM. u should've seen how her face lit up when i presented it to her..! LOL! priceless. anyway, that thing cost only $1.40. cheaper than if i paid that 1st place, and yet i got something priceless in return. what a steal! :D it was 9.20pm when my phone finally rang. YN decided to join us for some drinks after being cooped up the entire day at home with 'lil Seraphina. and naturally, she was late. forgiven nonetheless =] and we decided to have late din-per (dinner-cum-supper) at uh.. what was that place again? been there twice but still couldn't pronounce the name (> . <) but food there is generally good, including the pizza which i had a praises for, albeit on the pricey side, though. we made the most of whatever time we had there to catch up, laugh, discuss and cam-whore. okay, not really whoring, but u know what i mean right? hee.. some pics for fun, joy and laughter.. :D  KK, with my tie.. just what was he trying to do..? :P  and the boys of the night..! prize-presentation ceremony.. (-. -)" ahh... thats more like buddies of more than 10yrs! *GASP* look out! Italian godzilla lai liao!! nehmind.. goh lai jit bai (再来一次)! butties forever! (^_^) aye~.. ai zhai~ ai zhai~ steady ah~~ 甜蜜蜜哦~ (^ . ^) 天公 poh pi（保佑）啊.. gim nee（今年）顺顺利利.. hor lim peh tio jit bai（给你爸中一次） TOTO jiu eh sai liao（就可以了）！ :P the cast of the night..! oopz.. just realised forgot to take an exclusive shot of the beauties.. (>. <) 可以再来一次吗？ =|The night ended with everyone feeling bushed and drowsy(only for 倩儿 cos she was down with fever), including me! reason for not blogging that night. lucky my STM(short-term-memory) aint all that severe.. yet. still can rembr what happened that night.. only disappointment was that Patsy couldn't join us.. :( Happy Birthday Nash! |
