Wednesday, May 02, 2007 labour daylabour day, doesnt mean u gotta labour more than usual. its a day to commemorate ppl who's been working thru'out the yr, to enjoy a weekday without labour =]walkin along orchard rd today really set me thinking. see-ing couples in their pre-, during, and post-honeymoon period. the same "species" of man, with diff "species" of woman. like this chio, elegant, seemingly reech lady with this fat, immature/childish-looking guy with a cheap-looking red street cap. and there's this metro guy with matching tee, GAS jeans and leather trots who managed to maintain a trimmed, nice beard(like me! :P) with this super short, fat girl with an ever so tight, almost bursting mini skirt. disgusting! and there's this sweet young lady in her twenties (at max 25?) with this guy with NO doubt he could be old enuff to be her dad..! amusing. someone asked why i started keeping this beard. do i look better or worse than before? i'd like to keep it. trimmed and neat, of cos. cant stand ppl who don shave and think they're rugged, or those so lazy their nostrils are peepin out when they smile that teeko-pek smile. (saw this in one of the 6 ppl whom i had dinner with, 2 ladies excluded. recall: bicep-slappin' :P) shudderz.. anyways, comments on my beard? all appreciated, less flames! tag me! ;) cant decide between this goldlion or pierre cardin men's carrier. goldlion sounds kinda old leh. but old can be classy. pierre cardin sounds like some entry-grade working professional cheapskate, no-class-of-its own brand. gonna go back taka once again tmr after i sent in this bl@rdy laptop in for the umpteenth time for servicing. mayb time for a new laptop? =] anyone wanna meet for dinner tmr in the west, or town? cos my laptop servicing ctr is juz 'round that corner. prolly JP? but i don rembr JP having food that makes me going back for more..! otherwise, i'd head back to town after sending it in for service. if ur one of those lucky few whom i promised coffee, call me soon to redeem it before it expires! :P Happy Labour Day! |
