Thursday, May 03, 2007 Broadway Beng Returns!W0ot!today seemed just like any other day in the week almost gone. 8.35am i received a call from Ken when i was diggin my left pocket for coins for that thumbi, whose pratas are in my hands. Ken nv called me in the mornings! (cos usually i was the one calling him)
i reached office.. not daring to make even a cuppa (the machine's on the way from the lift lobby to my cluster), or lo0k into the toilet mirror to check if im ok, i stomped in, reeking strong of onions 'n eggs. "psst..! wassup man?" hokay, i know what to do. thats scary. 'nuff said :S super busy today! but thats part of good news for the day. when u have things to do, times slips by quickly without much of a notice. without, u have to fight a long, usually disadvantageous, war with the God of Nap, often known as Napster. lunch was soup. nice, thick, brothy mushroom soup topped nicely with foam cream (?) and spices that stank my mouth the entire afternoon. good thing the phone transmit only voice, not smell. i might have killed a couple vampires over the line otherwise! and did i tell u i almost dropped my mobile into the bowl of ease? Luckily not! anyway, it landed on the floor flat, into the cubicle next to mine, which was occupied. sooooooo paiseh when he opened the door asking "whose is this?", which i sheepishly admitted without hesitation!! (>.<) 塞翁失马，腌知非福。lil did i expect that fall to fix my mobile fone screen! (it was previously showing half a screen, and i had a good piece of mind to use it to crack walnuts which i had wanted to buy on the way home today @ bugis.) not bad! :P dinner was prawn noodles w/pork ribs @ the 4-faced buddha hawker(oppo. nat. lib.). reminded me fondly of the same dish i used to have at PSA tanjong pagar, only way less tastier. Taka staff called to inform me that the item i so badly wanted is finally in good stock! RETAIL THERAPY, ANYONE?! =O Broadway Beng Returns is a must catch, most ideal for sons with moms, and moms with sons. esp during this season! prices are really reasonable, too! and i must really admit, that Sebastian is indeed, a good example talent exists in a place as talent-scarce as singapok. so impressed i am, he changed my impression of him completely before and after the musical playscript! i enjoyed the show thoroughly, whats more its free! (kio tio lah. someone bought the tix and couldn't make it. i was roped in outta good will :P) received a surprisingly pleasant feeling when i read this sms from a sweet(literally!) person halfway thru the show. cos she nv initiated a sms before. Thanks, Fatty Ken. Thanks, Funny Phyllis. Thanks, Serious Thomas. Thanks, Blur Adrian. Thanks, Quiet Huiling. You just made my day =] the show made me feel proud being singaporean, feel fortunate having my mom as my Mom. im and really thankful im human. and a sensual one too.
