Monday, April 09, 2007 a moment to rembrreceived a call from my employer today.. guess what? they told me i'm getting a pay raise, and need me to sign the revised contract asap for it to supersede the previous. im like, wow.. cool huh. i haven even started working, and they're giving me a pay rise already? *rolls eyes*received another call for another potential employer. this guy somehow managed to convince me that he has a position which i might have a stronger passion for. sigh~ 只是相逢恨晚，i've already signed the contract with my 1st employer, bonded for a yr already >.< nonetheless, i still made the trip down to meet this man. he sounds like a respectable person with a strong charisma. and i enjoy talking to such people. i was spot-on. indeed, he's what i thought he was. the job sounds good, with a career growth prospect worth a thought thru'. too bad he's no gd a listener. a boss with a bad listening attitude will make employee's life slightly uncomfortable. call me fussy, choosy, wudever.. but these are small lil, non-monetary, decidin factors which i look out for when sourcing a proper job. plus the fact i already signed a contract with the 1st. pay also raise le.. for someone fast-learnin, with a potential like mine, who knows i might progress faster than expected? ;) feeling kinda excited bout the new chapter im gonna embark on starting tmr 8.45am. i hope and pray for a gd supervisor, colleagues and a life worth living. thats all from simple me. life's about a series of decisions u make. and a life worth livin is one which you do not regret. and not regretting means u gotta make the right decisions at every stage of life. so, really think it thru' before u decided on anything, cos ultimately it is YOUR own actions and decisions which will in turn, affect your life. never make the common mistake of letting life affect ur decision-making, however trivial the decision might be :) and im glad to announce i've never regretted so far :) |
