Sunday, March 18, 2007 friendship and lovepeople are together for a reason. there is no such thing as unconditional love. silly me.. stupid me.. juz realised that during my shoulder-crunchin swim minutes ago.there is no friends in this cruel world of reality. face it man. people are born selfish. friends are together because they have a common goal, or they feel that the person they are befriending has a certain level of usefulness(aka 利用价值) to them. perhaps this is why ppl come and go. i'd go too, if i feel that i no longer has an interest in the person im befriending. same goes for love. makes full sense now, huh? both friendship and love have a common property. simply said, they are states of the mind. very, very much like how u'd classify religion into. two people falling helplessly in love is an extremely strong believe that they had a possible future. 2 extremely suck-kok type of buddies are a strong believe that in the long run, each has an ability which the other party has a long-time interest in. usually ppl who has such a religion are already attached, or someone whom im simply not attracted to (character and looks-wise), or dead. *ouch.. shoulder pain again.. >.<* and usually ppl im attracted to are not religious enough, or we don share the same religion. so, criteria of a perfect friend or life-partner in my eyes, is one who has a strong, common religion, and is attractive in terms of body and character(think pamela anderson and mother theresa.. haha~ juz joking la :P). velly simple righT? recently, i thought i found such a person. my beliefs led me to certain decisions which i'd not have made without the person in consideration. decisions so critical, some call it sacrifices. thought only la. turns out that im a "devotee", and she, a "freethinker". attractive, though ;D maybe i should just give up. my requirements are just too demandin for the majority =] TOTD: Friends come and go. when they have to come, they come. 挡也挡不住。 block up, kena drop-kick. block down, kena kok-tow. or tio slam. when they have to go, no matter how fast u run to catch up, somehow they still will manage to escape. like a cracked vase. UHU might help bonding temporary, but the scars will be there forever. and too much UHU makes it all uglier. |
