Monday, March 19, 2007 衰之记caught a glimpse of the famous "phantom of the opera" on TV tonight.. my 1st impression of it, is that its so similar to moulin rouge..! seems like a very interesting show with in-depth. too bad i caught it when it was already halfway thru.. most prob will wanna watch the DVD when i lay hands on it.anyway supposed to go swimming at 7pm, end up KK fly kite, TCM say not free.. -.-" nvm, still go. i've been spinning cobwebs for the whole day already.. continue spinning and i know i'd have enough for 3yrs' worth of winter wear. agreed to meet at 8pm, and i knew she's so definitely gonna be late. 20mins. not bad. my personal record was a whooping 3hrs. often caught myself deep in thought during the swim, only to be distracted by occasional spliting pain on my left shoulder during certain strokes of the frog- and free-style (re: left arm movement). i give up. aint gonna trade my shoulder for a few calorie-burning activity like swimming. ooh.. and surfing net, blogging and msning by the swimming pool side is really cool! heh~ went for light supper afterwards.. geylang's teochew mueh rox0r! reali long time nv eat such 家常便粥，粗茶淡饭了。。 missed such food.. and to think i used to 嫌弃mom for cookin it at home! 太不应该了。>.< anyway suddenly rembr mom sayin such plain food is good for ppl who is ill, or juz recovered from illness.. and someone immediately came to my mind. without hesitation, ordered takeaway and rushed clarabelle home, before making my 1st and perhaps, last, food delivery to poor lil' flu-ey cindy. reali felt sorry for keepin her up so late at tis hr, i dunno if the food's to her taste.. she ate so lil! mayb its cos of sickness ba.. hmm.. the trip down wasn't short, pretty tiring, and slightly troublesome.. but seeing her eatin porridge like a kid reali made every single minute of the trip worthwhile. hope she wont hold it against me for keepin her up so late.. went to the petrol kiosk for topup after fixing nash's pc prob over the phone. haha.. busy huh? gotta work at such an hr (recall: 1.30am). guess what? wanted to pay by NETS and credit card but couldn't go thru! aye aye.. not cos bo lui ok.. juz some regular maintenance thingy.. shucks. how timely. cost of petrol: $13.08. total cash on hand: SGD$10, plus RM$10(they don accept RM$ la). was told mayb half hr can fix liao.. so i decided to hang around. 2am. i loitered around for 15mins, thinking it could be ok by then. when waiting seems more than 15mins, i knew i had to do smth. smth more meaningful than juz loitering in the minimart..! left my card, phone number with the cashier and grabbed the mp3 player, hp and made my way to the ghostly playground to feed some blood-hungry pests. class 95 sure has some good retro hits in the wee hrs :) 3am. made my way back to the station. no sign of recovery. pulled out my trusty lappie.. and started blogging, mail-clearing, msn-ing and wiki-ing, all along blasting some new fav hits on the kerb of the petrol kiosk. how pleasant.. lucky not many ppl. that sure put some nice strain on my shoulder though. ow.. wonder how i can slp tonight.. =( before i could finish bloggin, station called. a look at the time tells me i've waited a gd 2hrs for this maintenance sh!t. all that waiting for a difference of $3.08!! chao sway lei.. duhz.. well, anyway, time well-spent. better than spinning cobwebs at home, huh? reached home in 15mins. ok la.. i sped la. so what? even speedin couldnt keep me awake, much less travellin @ 70kmph, right? washed up, pee-ed, brushed and rinsed when home, got ready for dreamland. wonder what i can expect from hanzy, patsy and tf tmr at JP. its been a long time since we really sat down n talked. think i'll reach earlier, grab a copy of ST, and start ahuntin' in the lib. lunch @ JP, anyone? :) shut-eye@5am. considered quite early liao. mornin' all! ^.^ |
