the beginning of the end?

Woke up with a fresh feelin today.. heh actually wore beach-wear to town! :P returned my DnD costume before I head down to SLS to get that thumbdrive for Liwen. Called her after getting it but couldn’t get thru to her, almost decided to leave, until I saw that crystal shop juz opposite metro. Had been thinking of getting that special something for her, jus tt din have the time to hunt for it. Now that I have the time.. why not?

I entered the shop and asked the sales assistant if they have what I wanted. Suddenly a familiar voice called out: “kokkie!? What r u doing here?” it was liwen. What coincidence! So this was her mom’s shop she’s been talking about. Had a lil chat before we promised dinner next week, jacky inclusive.

Made my way to raffles city. Noticed she’s been feelin pretty down of late, and I thought getting some natural endorphin-releasers (in case ur still pondering upon what the f$#! Im talking about, its chocolates 啦~) would help in releasing her stress. For a moment I thought she disliked the prezzie or something. she took it nonchalantly, as if im just returning her something. I understand perfectly she’s simply too stressed about something (whats that thing? Man.. 我也很他妈的想知道啊!!), definitely not in the correct state of mind and mood to be caring about etiquettes，so im fine with it. Really hope the chocs’d help her in making the best decision for both herself and I, in the tormentously long, difficult week to come.

Went to catch a movie @ JE. Its been sometime since I caught a show with her in such setting.. sigh, wonder when would be out next..? Seats are okay, screen abit off angle. Show was definitely great. Pursuit of happiness (no mistake dude, its happyness alright) is a show all start-out advisers should watch. Reminded me of the difficulties I went thru..

Show ended with more than half a tub-ful of popcorn and a ¾ cuppa coke. Went on to JP to meet up with zL for dinner. Felt kinda outcasted when they started ranting about the events that happened to them and their circle of friends, but at least that made dear dear’s mood lighter by a good notch, and i certainly welcome that. Next mission: try clickin with her friends more! heh..

Im always trying to be a better man. Im not perfect, but at least im learning constantly and willing to try work things out logically, systematically, openly. I really am praying hard, in hope that this would not turn the negative way. Still hopeful. Always hopeful. Cos hope keeps a metro man going. And a metro man goes all out for love.
